Robin Meyers

Robin R. Meyers is a nationally known United Church of Christ pastor, professor, peace activist, and the author of six books about progressive Christianity and American society. He has been the senior minister of Mayflower Congregational UCC church, Oklahoma City, for 27 years. He is also a tenured full professor of rhetoric in the philosophy department at Oklahoma City University. His teaching and preaching offer a non-literal, non-dogmatic approach to Christianity, and his politics are neither left nor right, but rather subversive for the cause of love. He seeks to build, not a collection of “believers,” but a Beloved Community devoted to embodying peace and justice in a broken world.
